Clear information to help you move forward with confidence

Insurance & Billing

Understanding how insurance works shouldn’t be the most confusing part of starting therapy. Our goal is to make the financial process clear, transparent, and straightforward so you know exactly what to expect.

Many clients hesitate because they’re unsure how insurance is billed, what is covered, or how payments are handled. We provide clear information about how we collect payment, how claims are processed, and what your financial responsibility may be before you begin.

In-Network vs. Out-of-Network

One common misunderstanding is assuming out-of-network benefits work the same as in-network coverage. They do not.

If we are in-network with your plan, your benefits typically apply at the contracted rate. If we are out-of-network, your insurance may reimburse a portion of the cost depending on your specific plan. Coverage varies, and we encourage you to verify your benefits directly with your insurance provider. We’re happy to provide documentation needed for reimbursement.

Coverage and reimbursement rates vary by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits.

Quality of Care

While affordability matters, we prioritize quality. Our focus is on providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care delivered by experienced clinicians. Insurance participation is one part of the process; the work itself remains grounded in clinical integrity and professional standards.

Payment Options

We understand that financial concerns can create hesitation. To help reduce that barrier:

  • We offer payment plans for outstanding balances when needed.
  • A limited sliding scale may be available for clients who are unable to use insurance.

If you have questions about costs, coverage, or payment, we encourage you to ask. Clear expectations help you move forward with confidence.
